A couple of days ago, the Zauba listing revealed that the shipment of 7200 units of the device OnePlus 3 surfaced on Indian soil. Now the device launched at its fixed schedule.
The flagship device OnePlus 3 sports an Optic AMOLED display of 5.5” with the resolution of 1080pixels along with the protection of Gorilla Glass 4, 6GB RAM, and internal storage capacity of 64GB, micorSD card slot is not present in the device.
It is powered by Snapdragon 820 SoC chipset with quad-core processor (Dual-core 2.15 GHz Kryo & dual-core 1.6 GHz Kryo) coupled with Adreno 530 GPU and runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
The camera section of the device includes a rear camera of 16MP (SONY IMX298 sensor) with LED Flash and 4K video and front-facing camera of 8MP (MX179 sensor) with 1080p video capturing for Full HD Quality videos. It has the dimension of 152.7×74.7×7.35mm, and weighs 158 grams.
Connectivity wise, OnePlus 3 offers Wi-Fi 802.11ac, VoLTE ,Bluetooth 4.2, NFC (unlike the OnePlus 2), and GPS/ A-GPS. It also features 4G LTE Cat. 6 connectivity, with support for India’s LTE bands. It is powered by a non-removable Li-Ion 3000 mAh battery.
The company has organized the experience centres at, The Collective @ New Delhi (June 15), The Collective @ Mumbai (June 17) and Indelust @ Bangalore (June 18) in India.
The users will get the device OnePlus 3 at the cost of Rs. 27,999 ($399) via amazon.in from 12:30AM. The company has offered its Graphite version only; the other Soft Gold version will be launched in coming days.
