Lenovo announced the successor of the Lenovo Phab and Phab Plus namely Lenovo Phab 2 & Phab 2 Plus respectively. The device Phab 2 comes with mid-end specifications while its sibling Lenovo Phab 2 Plus features high-end specifications. Both the devices have a metal unibody design with rounded edges.
Lenovo Phab 2 which is a Hybrid Dual SIM enabled device, sports IPS HD display of 6.4” with the resolutions of 1280 x 720 pixels, pixel density of 229 PPI , 3 GB RAM, internal storage capacity of 32 GB, which can be further expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card slot. It is powered by a MediaTeK MT8735 Quad-core processor of 1.3 GHz coupled with Mali-T720 MP2 Graphics and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Connectivity wise, the device features 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi, A-GPS, Bluetooth, and FM radio. It has the dimension of 174.9 x 88.9 x 9.6 mm and weighs 200 grams.
The camera section of the device includes autofocus rear camera of 13MP with PDAF and LED flash and front-facing camera of 5MP with 85-degree wide-angle lens. It has the capacity to record videos upto 1080p at 30 frames per second.
It is powered by a huge battery of 4050mAh. It has an active noise cancellation feature which is based on triple array microphone system.
The users can get the device Lenovo Phab 2 at the cost of $199 (approx. Rs.13293) and the shipment will be started from July 2016.
The other device Lenovo Phab 2 Plus features almost similar specifications as of Phab 2. The device Lenovo Phab 2 Plus comes with a Full HD display of 6.4” with the resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, pixel density of 344 PPI. It is powered by 1.3 GHz octa-core processor coupled with MediaTek MT8783 SoC chipset coupled with Mali-T720 MP3 Graphics. It has the dimension of 173.89 x 88.3 x 5.5-9.6 mm and weighs 218 grams. The device Lenovo Phab 2 Plus comes with a fingerprint sensor for unlocking the device.
The users can get the device at the cost of $299 (approx. Rs. 19970) in June 2016.
