A couple of days ago, the specifications of the Huawei Honor 5A Plus leaked via GFX benchmark. Now Huawei finally announced its latest affordable device Huawei Honor 5A in China and increased one more in its Honor series. Since, it is the successor of the Huawei Honor 4A, which was announced last year.
The device Huawei Honor 5A sports HD IPS display of 5.5” with the resolutions of 1280 x 720 pixels, 178-degree viewing angle has tempered glass protection. It has 2GB RAM, internal storage capacity of 16GB, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card slot. It comes with dual-SIM functionality and also has 3D patterns on its rear side.
It is powered by its home-made Kirin 620 64-bit A53 Octa-core processor or a Snapdragon 617 SoC chipset with Adreno 405 GPU and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with Emotion UI 4.1. The device has the dimension of 154.3×77.1×8.45mm and weighs 168 grams.
The camera section of the device includes a rear camera of 13MP with LED Flash, Sony/OmniVision sensor, f/2.0 aperture, 28mm wide-angle lens and front-facing camera of 8MP with Sony/Hynix BSI sensor, f/2.0 aperture, 27mm wide-angle 4P lens.

Connectivity wise, the device features 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It is powered by 3100mAh (typical) / 3000mAh (minimum) lithium polymer battery.
The users can get the device Huawei Honor 5A in black, white, blue and gold versions. The standard version of the device will be available at the cost of 699 yuan (US$ 106 / Rs. 7130 approx.) and the device for the China Unicom, China Telecom and entire network version will be available at 799 yuan (US$ 121 / Rs. 8150 approx.).
The pre-order of the device is going on via vmall and the users of China will get the device from 17th June, 2016.
