The upcoming flagship device ZTE Axon 2 already showed its presence on TENAA and revealed its specifications and also leaked at AnTuTu. Now it is expected that the manufacturer has changed its name and now it will be known by new name ZTE Axon 7. The reason behind its renaming is still unknown, but we expect it may be the strategy of ZTE to keep its device Axon 7 in competition against Galaxy 7 or the upcoming iPhone 7. Hence in this regard the manufacturer ZTE sent out invites for its announcement which will be held on 26th May, 2016.
The invitation card comes with a catchline“Listening to the heart of power,” which may hints towards its audio output, but we can’t say perfectly, as it is our expectation.
According to the TENAA listing, the device ZTE Axon 2 will have metallic body and it will sport a 5.5” OLED 2k display with 1440 × 2560 pixel resolution, 4GB of RAM, internal storage capacity of 64GB, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card slot. It will be powered by Snapdragon 820 chipset with the 2GHz quad-core processor and runs on the latest Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
The camera section of the device will include a rear camera of 20MP with LED flash and front-facing camera of 8MP. It will feature a fingerprint scanner on its rear side and also comes with two front speakers. The volume buttons and the power button will be situated on the right side.
Connectivity wise, the device will support USB, Bluetooth, GPS, 4G LTE, 3G, NFC and USB Type-C port. It will have the dimension of 154 × 77 × 9.8 mm and weight of 175 grams. It will be powered by 3140mAh battery. The users will get the device in Golden color.
