Earlier of this month the specifications of the upcoming devices Moto G (4th Gen) and Moto G Plus leaked and now both the devices Moto G (4th Gen) with model number XT1622 and the Moto G / G4 Plus with model number XT1642 showed presence on FCC and revealed the specifications. Also the live images of the Motorola Moto G (4th Gen) leaked @evleaks. . The leaked images of the device showed the absence of a fingerprint sensor below the display.
According to the FCC listing, the device Moto G (4th Gen) will have 3GB of RAM and it will be powered by a Snapdragon 617 SoC chipset but earlier there was expectation that it will be powered by a Snapdragon 430 SoC chipset.
The other rumored specification of the device Moto G (4th Gen) includes a Full HD display of 5.5” and resolutions of 1920 x 1080 pixels with Corning Gorilla glass protection, 2GB RAM. It will come with internal storage capacity of 16GB, which can be further expanded up to 16GB via microSD card slot.
It will be powered by 1.2GHz Octa-Core 64-bit Snapdragon 430 (MSM8937) processor with Adreno 505 GPU and runs on Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow). It will come with Water resistant body and Dual SIM functionality (Optional).
Connectivity wise, 4G LTE / 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC (Optional). It will also feature 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio.
The camera section of the device will include a rear camera of 13MP with dual-tone LED flash, Laser AF, 1080p video recording and front facing camera of 5MP with OmniVision OV5693 sensor. It will be powered by 3000mAh battery.
It will be launched tomorrow in India. The cost of the device is still unknown.
