Asus announced a bunch of three latest smartphones ZenFone 3, ZenFone 3 Deluxe, and ZenFone 3 Ultra at Computex 2016.
The Asus ZenFone 3 comes in aluminum frame body and sports a Super IPS+ display of 5.5” with the resolution of 1080pixels and has the protection of 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass on its rear and front side. The device has 500 nits brightness and 77.3% screen to body ratio. It is powered by Qualcomm MSM8953 Snapdragon 625chipset with the Octa-core 2.0 GHz Cortex-A53 processor with Adreno 506 GPU and runs on Android OS, v6.0.1 (Marshmallow)
The camera section of the device includes a rear camera of 16MP with ASUS TriTech autofocus and also supports the laser autofocus, phase detection autofocus and contrast detection autofocus to get the focus in 0.03 seconds.
Connectivity wise, the device includes Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, Bluetooth v4.2, A2DP, EDR, LE, A-GPS, GLONASS and Infrared port. It is powered by 3000mAh.
The ZenFone 3 will be available in Gold, Blue, Black, and White color versions at the cost of $249 (approx Rs. 16,800).
The other device ZenFone 3 Deluxe comes in full metallic body with no visible antenna lines and 4.2mm edges and sports a 5.7” Super AMOLED display with the resolutions of 1080x1920pixels, pixel density of 386ppi. The display has the protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 4 with Asus ZenUI 3.0. It has 6GB of RAM, it has internal storage capacity of 64/128/256 GB, which can be further expanded up to128GB via microSD card slot. It is powered by Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820chipset with the Dual-core 2.15 GHz Kryo & dual-core 1.6 GHz Kryo processor and runs on Android OS, v6.0.1 (Marshmallow).
The camera section of the device includes a rear camera of 23 MP with f/2.0, laser/phase detection autofocus,), 4-axis optical image stabilization and dual-LED (dual tone) flash while front facing camera of 8 MP with aperture f/2.0.
Connectivity wise, the device features Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, Bluetooth v4.2, A2DP, EDR, LE, A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS and NFC. It is powered by a battery of 3000mAh.
It will be available in Gold, Silver, and Grey versions at $499 (Rs. 33,600)
And the third device ZenFone 3 Ultra with a aluminum alloy unibody design without any antenna features a display of 6.8”with the resolution of 1080pixels with a screen-to-body ratio of 79% and Tru2Life+ Video technology. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 652 processor and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with Zen UI on top. It has 4GB RAM and internal storage capacity of 64GB, which can be further expanded up to 128GB. It has Fingerprint sensor and dual SIM functionality.
The camera section of the device includes a rear camera of 23MP with dual-tone LED Flash, Sony IMX318 sensor, f/2.0 aperture, 4-axis OIS, 3-axis EIS, Laser AF and front-facing camera of 8MP. It is powered by 4600mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0
Connectivity wise, the device supports 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4/5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, USB 3.0 Type-C and also features Dual Five-magnet stereo speakers, NXP smart amplifier, Hi-Res Audio (HRA).
The Asus Zenfone 3 Ultra with 4GB RAM / 64GB storage version will be available in gray, silver and gold versions at the cost of $479 (Rs. 32,225 approx.).
