Xiaomi Mi 5 already launched at MWC, 2016. Now the manufacturer Xiaomi finally launched the device for the Indian users. Since it has decided to make its availability on the sixth anniversary of its Mi Fan Festival on 6th April.
The users will get the device at the cost of Rs 24,999 ($378) via mi.com on 6th April, 2016 at 11 AM (local time) through flash sales.
The device Xiaomi Mi 5 sports a full-HD display of 5.15” with curved glass, it has NTSC extent range of 95% and 600 nits of brightness for better view in bright light conditions.
It is powered by 64-bit Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor with Adreno 530 GPU and runs on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow based MiUi 7. It has RAM of 3GB, internal storage capacity of 32GB/64GB while at the mean time its other version Xiaomi Mi 5 Pro comes with 4GB of RAM and internal storage capacity of 128GB. It also features a fingerprint sensor on its front side. It has 3D glass unibody design with metallic frame all around its sides .It has the dimension of 144.5 x 69.2 x 7.25 mm weighs around 129 grams .
The camera section of the device Xiaomi Mi 5 includes a rear camera of 16MP with dual-tone lED flash, PDAF for quick focus, DTI pixel isolation technology, 4-axis OIS, Spectra image processor for outstanding capturing facility and it also has the capacity to record 4K videos at 30fps. While it features front-facing camera of 4MP with 2um pixel size for video chats and support for taking selfie.
Connectivity wise, it features 4G-LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/A-GPS, Infrared blaster, NFC and microUSB Type-C port. It is powered by a 3000mAh battery and also supports Quick Charge 3.0 technology.
The users will get the device in Black, White, Gold and Rose Gold versions.
