Meizu MX5 already launched last year, now the company launched its latest version Meizu MX5E in China without its official announcement. The users can get the device at CNY 1,399 ($215) which is lesser than CNY 100 ($15) compare to Meizu MX5.
The device Meizu MX5E sports a rear camera of 16MP; it is powered by a lower-clocked processor of 2 GHz and all other specifications are similar to its predecessor Meizu MX5.
We recall that the smartphone Meizu MX5 features 5.5-inch Full HD (1920×1080) Super AMOLED display with a pixel density of 401ppi and a Gorilla Glass 3 protection and is powered by a 64-bit Helio X10 octa-core processor from MediaTek and supported by PowerVR G6200 GPU. It is consider that the Mediatek Helio X10 MT6795 is one of the most powerful MediaTek chipsets that works on the big.LITTLE architecture and is clocked at 2.3GHz. The device runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop based Flyme UI.
In the rear side of the device it has a 20.7-megapixel camera made by Sony along with dual LED flash and in the front side it has a 5-megapixel camera that can record videos in Full HD resolution. The device has also 3GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage and a 3,150mAh battery that can give upto 14 hours of talk time and can last up to 340 hours on standby. The device includes mCharge 2.0 which can give 25% of battery life in just 10 minutes.
The body of the device is made of up metal. It is dual SIM device with dual standby support and includes 4G LTE connectivity on both SIMs. The device also features Fingerprint scanner integrated in to the large oval shaped Home button for better security.
Connectivity wise the handset features 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, GPS/A-GPS, and microUSB 2.0. The dimensions of device are 146 x 74.6 x 7.6 mm and weighs 149 grams.
The company has not declared the global sale of Meizu MX5E yet.
