The manufacturer Samsung finally announced both the devices Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge at the MWC 2016 event in Barcelona. The other device Samsung Galaxy S7 edge sports Super AMOLED display of 5.5” with the resolutions of 1440 x 2560 pixels, 534 ppi pixel density, 4 GB RAM ,dimension of 150.9 x 72.6 x 7.7 mm.It is powered by Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820chipset with quad-core processor of 2.1GHz with Adreno 530 GPU and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
It has the internal storage capacity of 32/64 GB which can be further expanded up to 200 GB via microSD card slot up to 200 GB. It is powered by non-removable Li-Ion 3600 mAh battery.
Both the devices get the IP68 certification which makes its dust- proof and water resistant over 1.5 meters for 30 minutes.
Both supports fast charging and wireless charging and also the primary camera of both the devices features world’s first Dual Pixel sensor that can focus on the objects blazingly fast as all the pixels are used for focusing on the objects, f/1.7 aperture and dual-tone LED flash for stunning captures even in low-light conditions.
Connectivity wise, both the devices include 4G-LTE, NFC, GPS/A-GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2 and a microUSB 2.0 port.
The camera section of both the devices Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge include a rear camera of 12 MP with phase detection autofocus, OIS and LED flash and front-facing camera of 5MP with f/1.7 aperture with dual video calling with dual video.
