Now Oppo launched both of its devices at it’s fixed schedule in China. Both have similarity in design.
The device Oppo R9 sports full HD display of 5.5” with the resolutions of 1080×1920 pixels, pixel density of 403ppi, 4GB RAM and its display is safely protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. It has a RAM of 4GB, thickness of 6.6 mm and weighs 145 grams.
The another device Oppo R9 Plus sports full HD display of 6” with the resolutions of 1080×1920 pixels , a pixel density of 386ppi, 4GB of RAM .It has the thickness of 7.4 mm and weighs 185 grams.
Both the devices are powered by Snapdragon 652 octa-core processor of 2.0GHz coupled with Adreno 510 GPU and runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop based latest Color OS 3.0. Also both the devices have internal storage capacity of 64GB, which can be further expanded via a microSD card slot. Both have metallic unibody design and also feature a fingerprint sensor which unlocks the device in just 0.2 seconds.
The camera section of both the devices includes a 16MP Sony IMX298 rear camera with LED flash and a 16MP front-facing camera with beauty 4.0, f/2.0 aperture to capture selfie.
Connectivity wise, both the devices feature 4G+, VoLTE, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and microUSB 2.0 port.
The Oppo R9 is powered by a 2850mAh battery which offers talk time up to 31 hours and standby time up to 250 hours. While the Oppo R9 Plus equips a massive battery of 4120mAh which offers a talk time up to 41 hours and standby time up to 360 hours.
Both the smartphones based on VOOC flash charging technology that offers 2 hours of talk time with just 5 minutes of charge.
The users will get the device Oppo R9 at the cost of 2,799 Yuan ($430) via Oppo’s official website from 24th March while the Oppo R9 Plus will be available at the cost of 3299 Yuan ($507) and the sale of the device will start on 12th April, 2016.
