Freetel Musashi launched in Japan @ 24, 800 Yen ($219)

Freetel-MusashiThe Japanese smartphone manufacturer Freetel launched a clamshell smartphone Freetel Musashi at the cost of 24,800 Yen (approx $219).

The device Freetel Musashi comes with an entry level specifications including a dual WVGA display of 4.0” with the resolution of 800×480 pixels, a pixel density of 233ppi, RAM of 1GB, internal storage capacity of 8GB, which can be further expanded upto 128GB via a microSD card slot.
It is powered by 64-bit MediaTek MT6735M quad-core processor of 1.0GHz coupled with Mali-T720 GPU and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. The device supports dual –SIM dual standby. It has the dimension of 123.1 x 63.1 x 17.6 mm and weighs around 198 grams.
The camera section of the device includes an 8MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash and a front-facing camera of 2MP. It is powered by a battery of 2000mAh which offers 8 hours of talk time and standby time of 210 hours.

Connectivity wise, it offers 4G-LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS and microUSB 2.0 port.
The users can get the device in Black, Champagne Gold and White versions.

The manufacturer hasn’t declared its availability for other countries yet, but it is expected that it will be available to other global users in coming days.
