A couple of months ago, we published that the upcoming device Asus Zenfone 3 will be launched in May or June, 2016. Now a latest tablet with the model number Asus P008 showed its presence on GFXBench and revealed some of its specifications. Since, the device Asus P008 will be the successor of Asus Zenpad 8.0, which was launched in launched in October, 2015 in India.
According to the GFXBench database, the upcoming Asus P008 tablet will sport a QHD display of 7.9” with the resolution of 2048×1536 pixels, pixel density of 324ppi, 2GB of RAM, internal storage capacity of 16GB, which can be further expanded via an externalSD card.
It will be powered by Snapdragon 650 hexa-core processor of 1.8GHz coupled with Adreno 510 GPU and will run on latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The camera section of the device will include a rear camera of 8MP with LED flash and front-facing camera of 2MP for capturing selfies.
Connectivity wise, the device will feature Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and microUSB port, and there is also expectation that the manufacturer will also launch its LTE version in coming days. It will be powered by a 4680mAh battery and also will support fast charging with the provided 5V/2A charger.
The cost and the launching date of the device haven’t declared by the company yet, but it is expected that it will be confirmed soon.
