After the announcement of Apple iPhone SE, now according to the Redington India, Apple has decided to launch the device in India on 8th April, 2016.
It is expected that the device will be available through 3000 retail outlets across the country. Apple has also declared the cost of the device through press release. The cost of the device with 16GB model will be Rs 39000 ($584).
The device will also available to various countries including , Albania, Andorra, Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Guernsey, Jersey, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Isle of Man, Italy, Kosovo, Kuwait, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Maldives, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey and UAE at the same time period.
The device comes with a display of 4.0″ with the resolutions of 1136×640 pixels, a pixel density of 326 ppi, weighs 113 grams.
It is powered by the latest gen Apple A9 chip with a dual-core 1.85 GHz Twister processor, PowerVR GT7600 six-core graphics and M9 motion coprocessor.
The camera section of the device includes 12MP iSight camera as rear camera and the front-facing camera of 1.2MP with the Retina Flash feature. The device can records video recording with 4K 30fps, 1080p 60fps, and slow motion 1080p 120fps and 720p 240fps support.
It comes with Apple Pay support due to the presence of the built-in NFC. The Touch ID fingerprint sensor is also comes with the device.
It has faster connectivity which has the support for up to 19 LTE bands and 150Mbps speed along with VoLTE support. Wi-Fi is also faster with 802.11ac support with 433Mbps speed and Wi-Fi calling support.
