Xiaomi Mi 5 specification leaked via GFXBench


Last month we published that the upcoming flagship device Xiaomi Mi 5 coming with dual-SIM functionality and NFC support.

Now the device showed its presence on the GFXBench listing and unveiled some of its specifications.

It is expected that the upcoming device Xiaomi Mi 5 will have metallic frame and 3G glass back panel and it will sport a full-HD display of 5.7” with the resolutions of 1920×1080 pixels, RAM of 3GB, built-in internal storage capacity of 64GB, but there is no information about the presence of microSD card slot. It will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor of 2.1GHz coupled with Adreno 530 GPU and it will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Connectivity wise, the device will include 4G-LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NFC, GPS/A-GPS and microUSB port with OTG functionality. It will be powered by a battery of 3600mAh battery.

The device will sport a fingerprint sensor packed in its physical home button and there is also expectation that it will come with USB Type-C port.

The GFXBench listing hasn’t unveiled the specification related to the camera section of the device, but according to the previous rumor there is expectation that it will sport a rear camera of 16MP and front-facing camera of 8MP.

It is expected that Xiaomi Mi 5 will be launched on 24th February, 2016.
