Today, a new smartphone from LG of it’s K series named LG K8 is revealed on the LG’s Official Hungarian website.
According to the listing, the LG K8 features a 5-inch (1280×720 pixels) HD IPS display with In-Cell technology and 294ppi as pixel density and is powered by 64-bit MediaTek MT6735 quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz clubbed with Mali-T720 GPU. The smartphone runs on latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.
In the rear side of the smartphone it features an 8MP camera with LED flash, autofocus and can record videos in 1080p resolution at 30fps and in the front side it has a 5MP camera for video calling and crisp selfie images. The smartphone has 1.5GB of RAM for lag-free and smooth performance and 8GB of internal storage that can be further expanded up to 32GB through a microSD card slot.
The smartphone equips with dual SIM dual standby. Connectivity wise the device features 4G-LTE, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and a microUSB 2.0 port.
The smartphone comes with innovative features like LG’s gesture shot and knock code for quick access. The dimensions of the smartphone are 144.6 x 71.5 x 8.7 mm and weigh around 157 grams and a 2125mAh battery and will be available in Black and White color options.
It is expected that the smartphone will be launched in the upcoming MWC 2016 event.
