The Spanish smartphone manufacturer BQ officially announced its latest device BQ Aquaris X5 Plus at MWC, 2016.Since, it has already launched its predecessor BQ Aquaris X5 on Ocotber, 2015.
The device BQ Aquaris X5 Plus comes with metallic unibody and sports a Full HD display of 5-inch with the resolutions of 1080×1920 pixels with 424ppi as pixel density. Its display is protected by Gorilla Glass 4 protection and also it offers brightness levels of upto 500 nits for better display performance which will be definitely enjoyed by the viewers. It has the thickness of 7.7mm and weighs about 150 grams.
It is powered by a 64-bit Snapdragon 652 octa-core processor of 1.4GHz with Adreno 510 GPU and also includes 2GB/3GB of RAM; the internal storage capacity of 16GB/32GB/64GB, which can be further expanded via a microSD card slot. The device runs on latest Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow based on company’s customized UI.
It supports dual-SIM dual standby and features a fingerprint sensor for it security purpose. It is powered by a battery of 3100mAh and also supports Quick Charge 2.0 technology.
The camera section of the device includes a rear camera of 16MP with Sony Exmor IMX298 sensor, f/2.0 aperture, dual-tone LED flash and has the capacity to record 4K videos at 30fps and Slow-mo videos at 120fps. It’s front-facing of 8MP comes with f/2.0 aperture for capturing better quality selfies.
Connectivity wise, it features 4G-LTE, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi, NFC, GPS/A-GPS and microUSB port.
The exact date of its availability is not known yet, but it is expected that it will be available at Q3 of 2016 and the users have to pay 200 -300 Euros for getting the device.
