Acer announced a couple of smartphones namely Acer Liquid Jade 2 and Acer Liquid Zest at the Mobile World Congress (MWC), 2016.
The device Acer Liquid Jade 2 sports an AMOLED display of 5.5″ with the resolutions of 1080pixels AMOLED screen, 3GB of RAM, internal storage capacity of 32GB, which can be further expanded via microSD card slot. It is powered by a Snapdragon 808 chipset with hexa-core processor of 1.8GHz. It has 1TB hybrid cloud storage. It supports dual sim dual standby and has connectivity options like 4G-LTE, GPS, Bluetooth 4.1 and Wi-Fi.
The camera section of the device includes a rear camera of 21MP with fast autofocus and 4K video recording support at 30fps and front-facing camera of 8MP with 84-degree wide-angle lens. The cost of device is still unknown.
The other device Acer Liquid Zest sports an IPS display of 5.0” with the resolutions of 720pixels. It comes in two versions 3G and 4G.
The Acer Liquid Zest with 3G is powered by a Mediatek MT6580 chipset with a quad-core processor of 1.3GHz and it also offers DTS Sound Studio while its 4G version comes with a MediaTek MT6735 chipset with a quad-core processor of 1.3GHz and has the support of the upgraded DTS HD Premium Sound.
Connectivity the device features 2G/3G HSPA+, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and microUSB 2.0 port.
Both the versions 3G and 4G have similar specifications and feature a rear camera of 8MP with aperture f/2.0 with autofocus and front-facing camera of 5MP.
Both the smartphones Acer Liquid Jade 2 and Acer Liquid Zest run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The users can get the Acer Liquid Zest with 3G at the cost of €109 and the other version Liquid Zest 4G will cost €149.
