Recently, we published a post that Xiaomi Mi 5 will be launched in mid-February, 2016. Now, the Chinese company’s co-founder and Senior VP Liwan Jiang confirmed in the Weibo post that the upcoming device Xiaomi Mi 5 will be launched at company’s Spring Conference which will be held on 24th February, 2016. Mi5 is the successor of Xiaomi Mi4.
According to the latest information, the upcoming flagship device Xiaomi Mi 5 will come in two versions and sport a QHD display of 5.2″with pixel density of 565ppi, 4GB RAM, internal storage capacity of 16GB and 64GB. It will be powered by a Snapdragon 820 chipset and runs on Android 5.1 based on MIUI 7. The device will feature dual-SIM and LTE connectivity.
The camera section of the device will include a rear camera of 16MP with dual-LED flash and a front-facing camera of 8MP. It will equip a battery of 3,600mAh.
