The Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Vivo launched the device Vivo Y51L in India at the cost of Rs. 11,980. Since, it is the latest device of Y-series. The company has already launched the devices Y27L, Y31 and Y15S last year in Indian market.
On its launching, Mr. Alex Feng, CEO, Vivo India, said “The Indian smartphone market is tech savvy and price sensitive. The affordable segment is the growth driver, as the young generation today looks for a phone which is best in features, beautiful in design and is priced competitively. Last year, we witnessed huge sales and positive demand for products in the budget range across markets, which boosted us to launch the Y51L. The new launch will further strengthen our hold on the market and help us establish ourselves among our consumers.”
The device Vivo Y51L sports a QHD IPS display of 5” with the resolution of 960×540 pixels with the pixel density of 220ppi, RAM of 2GB, internal storage capacity of 16GB, which can be further expanded via microSD card slot. It is powered by Snapdragon 410 64-bit quad-core processor of 1.2GHz along with Adreno 306 GPU. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based Funtouch OS 2.5. Connectivity wise, the device offers 4G-LTE/3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and microUSB 2.0 port with OTG support. It has the dimension of 143.8 x 71.7 x 7.5 mm and weighs around 157 grams. The camera section of the device includes a rear camera of 8MP with LED flash with f/2.0 aperture and a front-facing camera of 5MP with an f/2.4 aperture.
It also features voice capture, palm capture, smart beauty mode and smart click.It is powered by a 2350mAh battery.
