Today Oppo the Chinese smartphone manufacturer announced its new F-series smartphone called Oppo F1 for the international markets. It is noted that Oppo F1 will be a camera-centric device.

The Oppo F1 features a 5.5-inch (1280×720 pixels) HD display with 267ppi as pixel density and 2.5D arc glass and will be powered by 64-bit Snapdragon 616 octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz. It will run on Android 5.1 Lollipop based Color OS 2.1. The device will have a 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. The smartphone features hybrid SIM slot which offers to use microSD card instead of the second SIM and a 3075mAh battery and also supports VOOC Flash Charging technology. In the rear side of the smartphone it has a 13MP rear camera with ISOcell technology, LED flash and in the front side of the device it has a 5MP camera for video calling and taking personal selfie. The smartphone equips with dual SIM.
Connectivity wise the handset features 4G-LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS and microUSB 2.0 port. It is expected that the device will feature all-metal unibody design and is very slim measuring just 7.43 mm thickness. It is expected that the price of the Oppo F1 will be around $300 in the international markets. It is also expected that it be officially unveiled by the company in CES 2016 event.
