A couple of months ago a new smartphone codenamed Motorola Bounce leaked over the web by @upleaks which is called the Moto X Force and the leak also reveals that the smartphone will be launched in December, 2015.

A recent report suggested that the device will be launched on 2nd February 2016. Now this report has been confirmed by the company’s India Twitter account which has posted a new teaser. The teaser also consists a video which displays that the handset comes with a shatterproof display. It is also noted that the company also claimed that the device will be the world’s first smartphone that will feature a shatterproof display.

The Moto X Force features a 5.4” Quad HD shatterproof display with the resolutions of 1440×2560 pixels and is powered by 2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 810 64-bit octa-core processor. The handset runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with planned upgrade to Android 6.0 Marshmallow in coming months.

In the rear side of the device it has a 21MP camera with f/2.0 aperture, PDAF and dual LED flash and in the front side it has a 5MP camera for video calling and taking personal selfie. The device has 3GB RAM. The smartphone comes in two storage variants 32GB/64GB with microSD card slot for expansion up to 2TB.

Connectivity wise the smartphone features 4G-LTE (Cat 4), Wi-Fi with MIMO, infrared, NFC, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS and a microUSB port and a 3760mAh battery that can last for two days on mixed usage and also supports Quick Charging.  It weighs 169 grams and has the thickness of 7.6mm.
