Huawei P9 with 6GB RAM will be announced at CES, 2016

Earlier we published that the upcoming device Huawei P9 will be launched in March, 2016. Now it is expected that it will be announced in CES, 2016 which will be held in Las Vegas. Since the upcoming device will be the successor of Huawei P8, which was launched in April, 2015.

The main attraction of the device will be its 6GB RAM also it will come with a dual camera setup including a rear camera of 13MP and will have a display of 5.2” with a resolutions of 1080 x 1920 pixels. It will be powered by the home-made Kirin 950 SoC chipset with octa-core processor and the Mali-T880 MP4 GPU.  These features are speculated by analyst Pan Jiutang.

Earlier there was expectation that the device will sport a display of 5.2”, similar to its predecessor Huawei P8. It will have a rear camera of 16MP camera with optical image stabilization. Huawei P9 will be powered by a new Kirin 950 SoC chipset, RAM of 4GB and it will also feature a fingerprint sensor as well as a dual camera set-up on the rear side of the device. The Kirin 950 will be running with top-tier Cortex-A72 cores, ARM’s latest Mali GPU (possibly the T880), and a duo of image signal processors.

The cost of the device is still unknown. So for confirmed information we have to wait for its announcement in CES, 2016.
