Gionee Marathon M5 Lite launched in India with 5″ HD Display & 4000mAh Battery


As we know that Gionee launched the Gionee Marathon M5 smartphone in India in November, 2015 which boasts an enormous 6020mAh capacity battery and today it has launched a smaller versions of the smartphone named Gionee Marathon M5 Lite in India.

The Marathon M5 Lite features a 5-inch (1280×720 pixels) HD IPS display offering a pixel density of 294ppi and Asahi DragonTrail Glass protection and is powered by MediaTek MT6735 64-bit quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz coupled with Mali-T720 MP2 GPU. The handset runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based Amigo 3.1 UI.

The handset equips with dual SIM dual standby. In the rear side of the device it has an 8MP autofocus camera with LED flash and in the front side it has a 5MP camera for video calling and taking personal selfie. The smartphone has also 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB through a microSD card slot.

Connectivity wise the device features 4G-LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0 and microUSB 2.0 port with OTG support and a 4000mAh battery which promised to offer up to 40 hours of talk time and up to 39 days of standby time on a single charge. The device can also act as a power bank to charge other devices with the OTG support.

The dimensions of the smartphone are 143 x 69.9 x 8.5 mm and weigh around 183 grams. The price of the smartphone is Rs. 12,999.
