Asus Zenfone Zoom has already launched in the early December, 2015 in its home town Taiwan. Now the company has decided to make it available for the US users. It is expected that the US users will get the unlocked version of the device at the cost of $399 in the early February, 2016.
As we know the Zenfone Zoom sports a Full-HD display of 5.5”with the resolutions of 1080×1920 pixels with a pixel density of 403 ppi which is covered with Corning Gorilla Glass 4. The 64GB version is powered by an Intel Atom Z3580 2.3GHz quad-core processor and the 128GB version is powered by an Intel Atom Z3590 2.5GHz quad-core chipset. The smartphone runs on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop based ZenUI. In the rear side of device it has a 13MP camera with f/2.7-f/4.8 aperture, dual-LED flash, laser autofocus, 3x optical zoom, and optical image stabilization. According to the company the Zenfone Zoom is the thinnest smartphone to feature a camera having 3x optical zoom and also features an innovative 10-element HOYA lens for crisp photography and in the front side of the device it has a 5MP camera for video calling and selfie lovers. The smartphone has 4GB of RAM and also includes a microSD card slot for expansion of memory up to 128GB.
It is powered by a battery of 3000mAh .The smartphone comes with the faux leather back panel. The dimensions of device are 158.9 x 78.8 x 11.95 mm weighs around 185 grams.
Connectivity wise, the device equips with 4G-LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and microUSB port.
