Asus Zenfone Max launched in India with massive 5000mAh battery & Snapdragon 410 SoC


Today Asus has added a new member in it’s Zenfone-series named Asus Zenfone Max in India. The price of the Zenfone Max is Rs. 9,999.  It is noted that Asus Zenfone Max is a battery centric smartphone comes with massive 5000mAh battery which promised to offer up to 38 hours of talk time and up to 914 hours of standby time.

The Zenfone Max features a 5.5-inch (720×1280 pixels) HD display with 267ppi as pixel density and is powered by Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor clocked at 1.0GHz paired with Adreno 306 GPU. The device runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop based ZenUI 2.0.

The smartphone equips with dual SIM dual standby and has also 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage and can be further expanded using a microSD card slot up to 64GB.

In the rear side of the smartphone it features a 13MP camera with dual LED flash, laser autofocus, f/2.0 aperture and in the front side of the device it has a 5MP camera for video calling and taking personal selfie. Connectivity wise it has 4G-LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and microUSB port.


It is interesting to hear that the Zenfone Max can also work as a power bank and can charge other devices with the OTG support. The dimensions of the handset are 156 x 77.5 x 10.5 mm weighs around 202 grams and will be available in Black and White color options.

Now the smartphone is up for pre-order online exclusively via Flipkart and will be available for sale starting Jan 14th.
