As we know that Xiaomi is known in the world for launching the high-end smartphone at affordable prices. Now it seems that company will launch the successor of the Xiaomi Redmi 2 that was launched in the beginning of this year. Recently a smartphone with the model number Mi 2015811 has been certified by Chinese certification and regulatory authority TENAA. Possibly it will be the Xiaomi Redmi 3.
As per the TENAA listing, the Redmi 3 will feature a 5-inch (720×1280 pixels) HD IPS display and will be powered by the unknown 64-bit octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz. The device will run on Android 5.1 Lollipop based MiUi 7. The handset has also 2GB of RAM and 16G of internal storage with microSD card support for further expansion up to 32GB.The device will feature hybrid SIM slot and this slot will be used to insert a microSd card instead of the second SIM. In the rear side of the device it will have a 13MP camera with LED flash and in the front side of the device it will have a 5MP camera for video calling and taking personal selfie. The body of the device will be made up of metal.
The smartphone equips with dual SIM dual standby. Connectivity wise the device will feature 4G-LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, Infrared and microUSB port and a 4000mAh battery that can easily last for 1-2 days on mixed usage.
The dimensions of the smartphone are 139.3 x 69.6 x 8.5 mm and weigh around 143 grams. The device will be available in Dark Grey, Silver and Champagne Gold color options.
