Today a new device named TCL Pride T500L has been launched by the Chinese smartphone manufacturer TCL in India. The Pride T500L features a 5-inch (1080×1920 pixels) Full-HD IPS display offering a pixel density of 441ppi and is powered by the unspecified 2.5GHz octa-core processor. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop.
Interestingly the smartphone features an Iris (retina) scanner that offers it’s users to unlock their handset after the front camera authenticates their retina. In the rear side of the handset it has a 13MP autofocus camera with LED flash, EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization) and in the front side of the device it has an 8MP fixed focus camera to capture crisp selfie images. Connectivity wise the device features 4G-LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and a microUSB port.
The device has 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage and microSD card slot for further expansion of memory. The device equips with dual SIM and a 3050 mAh battery that can easily last for an entire day on mixed usage.
