Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016) with Octa-core processor, 13MP camera and 2GB RAM got TENAA certification


As we know that last month the second-generation Samsung Galaxy A5 had been passed through GFXBench listing. Now Galaxy A5 (2016) passed through TENAA. The model number of the handset is SM-A5100.

TENAA listing reveals the full specifications of the handset. Galaxy A5 (2016) features a 5.2-inch (1080×1920 pixels) Full-HD AMOLED display with pixel density of 424ppi and is powered by unspecified Exynos 7 Octa-core processor clocked at 1.7GHz. The handset runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based TouchWiz UI with planned upgrade to Android 6.0 Marshmallow in future.

In the rear side of the device it has a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and in the front side of the device it has a 5MP camera for video calling and selfie images. The handset will be equipped with hybrid SIM slot with dual SIM dual standby.

The device has 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB through microSD card slot. The body of the device will be made up of a metal body with curved edges offering better grip to hold the device.

Connectivity wise 4G-LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, NFC, GPS and microUSB port. The dimensions of the handset are 144.7 x 70.8 x 6.9 mm weighs around 145 grams and will come in Gold color variant.

It is expected that the smartphone will be launched in coming months.
