Micromax which is the India’s one of the largest smartphone manufacturer, has added a couple of mid-end smartphones namely Micromax Canvas Mega E353 & Canvas Mega 4G Q417 in its canvas series.

Commenting on the launch Mr. Vineet Taneja, CEO, Micromax Informatics said, “Phablet market has grown exponentially in the last quarter with over 200% growth in the segment. With more than 70% of neo-users in the age group of 15-24 years extensively streaming videos on their smartphones; the growth of phablet market has been triggered exponentially. Micromax Canvas Mega E353 sports HD IPS display of 5.5”with the resolutions of 720×1280 pixels, pixel density of 267ppi, it is powered by MediaTek MT6592M octa-core processor of 1.4GHz and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop.

It has 1GB of RAM, built –in storage capacity of 8GB, which can be further expanded via microSD card slot.

The camera section of the device includes a rear camera of 13MP with LED flash and a front-facing camera of 5MP.

The device supports dual –SIM dual standby.

Connectivity wise, it supports 2G/3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and microUSB port.

It is powered by a battery of 2820mAh.

The users can get the device Micromax Canvas Mega E353 at the cost of Rs. 7,999.

 

The other device Micromax Canvas Mega 4G comes with a HD IPS display of a 5.5” with the resolutions of 1280x 720 pixels, a pixel density of 267ppi.

It has a RAM of 3GB; internal storage capacity of 16GB which can be further expanded using a microSD card slot. It supports dual-SIM dual standby.

It is powered by the MediaTek MT6735 quad-core processor of 1.3GHz and runs on Android 5.1.

Connectivity wise, it supports Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, 4G-LTE, GPS/A-GPS and microUSB port.

The camera section of the device includes a 13MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash and front-facing camera of 5MP.

The device is powered by a battery of 2500mAh.

Canvas Mega 4G is available at the cost of Rs. 10,990.
