Gionee Marathon M5 Plus with Quad-core processor, 3GB RAM and 13MP camera with autofocus coming on December, 2015

Gionee Marathon M5 Plus

After the launching of Gionee Marathon M5, the manufacturer has decided to launch its successor Gionee Marathon M5 Plus in December. The teaser posted by the Chinese smartphone manufacturer revealed that the device will be announced on 21st December, 2015. We have no information about its specification but we expect that it will come with some advanced features compare to the predecessor Marathon M5.

We recall the features of the device Gionee Marathon M5 which sports an AMOLED display of 5.5” with the resolutions of 720 x 1280 pixels, RAM of 3 GB, internal storage capacity of 16GB which can be expanded up to 64GB via microSD card. It is powered by a MediaTek MT6735 SoC chipset with quad-core processor of 1.3 GHz and runs on Android OS, v5.1 (Lollipop) based Amigo 3.1. It has the dimension of 152x76x8.55mm and weighs 214 grams. The camera section of the device includes a rear camera of 13 MP with autofocus and LED flash and front-facing camera of 5MP.

The device is known for it’s dual-battery 3,010mAh, which increases its capacity up to 6,020mAh and the users can enjoy un-interrupted power of battery up to 4 days. It has an extra feature that includes standby time to 62 hours when only 5% juice will leave in the device. The users can also use it as a power bank to charge other devices.

So, we hope the Gionee will implement more advanced features in Gionee Marathon M5 Plus compare to Marathon M5.
