As we know last month, Gionee launched the mid-end device Marathon M5 with a massive battery of 6020mAh. Also early of this month, we published a post related to the teaser posted by the Chinese smartphone manufacturer revealing that the device will be announced on 21st December, 2015.
Now the device passed the TENAA certification and came with more detailed information ahead of its announcement.
According to TENAA listing, the upcoming device will sport a Full-HD AMOLED display of 6’’ with the resolution of 1080×1920 pixels, 3GB of RAM, internal storage capacity of 32GB which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card slot. It will be powered by 64-bit MediaTek octa-core SoC chipset of 1.3GHz and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based Amigo OS 3.0. The device will have a fingerprint sensor for it’s security. It will come with the dimension of 160.7 x 81.0 x 8.2 mm and weighs 206 grams. The camera section of the device will include a rear camera of 13MP with LED flash and a front-facing camera of 5MP. Connectivity wise, the device will feature 4G-LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and microUSB port. It will be a dual-SIM device and expected to come with the similar design compare to its predecessor Gionee Marathon M5. It will be powered by 5020 mAh battery, less powerful than the 6020mAh sported in the Marathon M5.
The information about its cost and availability is still unknown, so we have to wait for only a single day for its launching.
