Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 two variants with Octa-core processor, 13MP camera and 2/3 GB RAM launched in China

Yesterday a teaser image leaked over the web which confirmed that the successor of the Redmi Note 2 named Redmi Note 3 will arrive on 24th November and today on 24th November it launched in China at Grand event. It is noted that the device arrives in two variants.  The price of the 2GB RAM/16GB storage version is RMB 899 (approx $140) and the 3GB RAM/32GB storage variant is RMB 1099 (approx $172).

The Redmi Note 3 features a 5.5-inch (1080×1920 pixels) FHD display with 401 ppi as pixel density and is powered by MediaTek MT6795 Helio X10 octa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz paired with PowerVR G6200 GPU. The handset runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based latest MiUi 7.

In the rear side of the device it has a 13MP camera with PDAF for faster focus, LED flash and in the front side of the device it has a 5MP camera for video calling and taking personal selfie. The handset equips with dual SIM dual standby.  Connectivity wise the device features 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and microUSB port.

The body of the device is made of metal and also features a fingerprint sensor placed on the back side that can unlock the smartphone in just 0.3 seconds and is also compatible with mobile payments and a massive 4000mAh battery.The dimensions of the device are 149.9 x 75.9 x 8.65 mm weighs 164 grams and is available in Silver, Gold, and Dark Grey color options.
