A week ago, Philips launched a couple of devices with ‘Anti-Blue’ Screens namely Philips Sapphire S616 and Sapphire Life V787 in China. Both the devices are based on the latest technology of Philips namely ‘Soft Blue‘that minimizes the harmful blue light by 86% and hence making it an anti-blue screen.
Now the company launched its latest phablet Philips Swift 616L at the cost of 1,399 Yuan ($220).
The device sports HD IPS display of 6.5” with the resolutions of 720×1280 pixels, RAM of 2GB, internal storage capacity of 16GB which can be further expanded upto 32GB via a microSD card slot. It is powered by Snapdragon 410 64-bit quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat.
The camera section of the device includes a rear camera of 13MP with LED flash and front-facing camera of 5MP.
Connectivity wise, the device supports dual -SIM dual standby, 4G-LTE connectivity, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and a microUSB port.
It is powered by a battery of 3000mAh. The dimension of the device has 176 x 90.4 x 8.9 mm and weighs 188 grams.
The users will get the device in different variants like Coffee and Gold.
The date of its availability is not confirmed yet but it will be declared soon.
