As we know that two new Android handsets with “Anti-Blue” displays named Sapphire S616 and the Philips Sapphire Life V787 has been introduced by Philips last month. Using a technology called SoftBlue, the phones produce up to 86% less blue light from their displays, than an average smartphone. Resulting less strain and fatigue on a smartphone user’s eyes.
However the Philips Sapphire S616 is already available in China. The price of the device is $220 USD. Now the Philips V787 has been passed through Chinese regulator TENAA.
Philips V787 features a 5-inch “Anti-Blue” screen with a 1080 x 1920 resolution comes with pixel density of 441ppi and is powered by an unnamed MediaTek SoC, carrying a quad-core 1.5GHz CPU. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1.
In the rear side of the device it has a 13MP camera uses Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF) for quick focusing and in the front side it has a 5MP camera for taking personals selfies and video chats.
The device has 1GB of RAM and 8GB of native storage can be expanded up to 32GB through microSD slot. Philips own Xenium technology is used with the 5000mAh battery which provides 47 hours of talk time.
It is expected that the device will be launched soon.
