Few hours ago the Obi Worldphone SF1 smartphone has been officially launched in India. The SF1 features a 5-inch (1080×1920 pixels) Full-HD JDI In-cell floating glass display offering a pixel density of 443ppi with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection and oleophobic coating on top of it and is powered by the Snapdragon 615 64-bit octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz coupled with Adreno 405 GPU. The smartphone runs on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop based Obi’s Lifespeed UI.
In the rear side of the smartphone features a 13MP rear camera with Sony IMX214 sensor, hybrid autofocus, f/2.0 aperture and LED flash and in the front side of the device it has a 5MP camera comes with LED flash for taking personal selfie.
The smartphone comes in two versions; it features 2GB/3GB RAM and 16GB/32GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 64GB through microSD card slot. The handset also comes with dual mic for noise cancellation and also comes with Dolby Audio 7.1 technology for perfect sound quality.
Interestingly the smartphone is designed by San Fransisco based product studio Ammunition and is quite a looker. It sports premium looks as the body is built with fibreglass with metal accents on top and bottom of the device.
The smartphone equips with dual SIM dual standby. Connectivity wise the device features 4G-LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0 and microUSB port and a 3000mAh battery with Quick Charge 1.0 support and is rated to last for an entire day on mixed usage.
The dimensions of the smartphone are 146 x 74 x 8 mm and weighs 147 grams. The device will be available in Black color variant.
