Today Lenovo launched a new smartphone called Vibe S1 in India. Firstly the smartphone was announced at IFA 2015 event and is the first devices to come with dual front cameras. It is expected that the smartphone will be sold exclusively via Amazon. The price of the smartphone will be Rs. 15,999.
The Vibe S1 will have a 5-inch FHD (1920 x 1080) display and will be powered by MediaTek MT6752 64-bit octa-core processor clocked at 1.7GHz. The smartphone runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop based Vibe UI.
In the rear side of the smartphone it has a 13-megapixel camera with PDAF and dual tone LED flash and the main highlight of the smartphone is the dual front-facing snappers – an 8MP shooter for high quality clicks and a 2MP shooter ‘Depth of Feild’ effet.
The device has 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage that can be further expanded up to 128GB through microSD card and a 2420mAh battery. The device equips with dual sim dual standby. Connectivity wise the device features 4G-LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and microUSB port.
The body of the device is made of up polycarbonate with a metal trim bezel that holds front and curved rear glass surfaces. In the right side power button and volume rockers are placed on the other hand SIM tray is placed on the left side of the device. The dimensions of the handset are 143.3 x 70.8 x 7.8 mm weighs around 132 grams. The smartphone is available in Pearl White and Midnite Blue color options.
