HTC Desire 828 with Octa-core processor, 2GB RAM and 13MP OIS camera launched in India


Today HTC added a new mid-range smartphone in its Desire series named HTC Desire 828 in India. It is consider that this is the first smartphone which comes with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) support.

The Desire 828 features a 5.5-inch (1080×1920 pixels) Full-HD display comes with a pixel density of 401ppi and is powered by the MediaTek MT6753 octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based HTC Sense 6.0 UI.

The device will be available in single SIM and dual SIM variants. The device has 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage that can further expanded up to 2TB using a microSD card slot. Connectivity wise the device features 4G-LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and microUSB port.

In the rear side of the smartphone it has a 13MP camera with LED flash, OIS, and in the front side of the device it has a 5MP camera with f/2.0 aperture and super wide angles for video calling and selfie clicks.  The Desire 828 also features dual HTC’s BoomSound speakers on the front with Dolby Audio technology for enhanced sound experience and a 2800mAh battery.

The device is just 7.9 mm thick and weighs around 150 grams.  The smartphone will be available in White and Grey color options.
