Xiaomi Redmi 2 Pro passed through the FCC



Since a long time rumors and leaks are coming continuously regarding the Chinese smartphone maker, Xiaomi which will enter into the US smartphone market. Now a new smartphone named Redmi 2 Pro has been passed through FCC the US certification website. So we can say that it will be Xiaomi’s  first smartphone that will be launched in the US market.

It is consider that the unannounced Redmi 2 Pro is the modified version of the Redmi 2 Prime that was launched in India in August, 2015. The almost specifications of the smartphone are similar to the Redmi 2 prime.

The Redmi 2 Pro features a 4.7-inch (720×1280 pixels) HD display and is powered by 64-bit Snapdragon 410 processor clocked at 1.2GHz coupled with Adreno 306 GPU. The handset runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop based MiUi 6.

The smartphone supports dual-SIM. It has also 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage and a 2200mAh battery and also comes with 4G-LTE connectivity (supported bands 2, 4 and 7). Connectivity wise it features Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and microUSB port.

It is expected the device will be released in the US markets soon.
