As we know Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi Corp. has sold more than three million phones in India since July 2014, and now the company is in the process of targeting the U.S. market. Hence in this regard the device Xiaomi Redmi 2 Pro showed its presence at FCC certification agency.
The specifications of the device Xiaomi Redmi 2 Pro is similar to the Redmi 2 Prime , which was launched in August, 2015.
The Redmi 2 Pro features a 4.7-inch screen carrying a 720 x 1280 resolution and powered by a 64-bit Snapdragon 410 SoC that contains a quad-core 1.2GHz CPU along with the Adreno 305 GPU. The device runs on Android 4.4 with MIUI 6 and it will be updated to Android 5.0 in future.
The device has also 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage and a 32GB capacity microSD slot is available for those seeking additional memory. In the rear side of the device it has an 8MP camera and in the front side it has a 2MP camera for taking personal selfie. The phone has dual SIM dual standby capabilities and a 2200mAh battery.
Connectivity wise, it supports 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, and 4G LTE. 4G, 3G, GPS and OTG connectivity.
Since the model GSM850/1900 has already certified by the US agency and also it will offer LTE bands 2, 4, and 7.
Hence, we have to wait for few days for official confirmation of its launching in US.
