Samsung Z3 with Tizen OS released in India



Samsung Unveils the Samsung Z1, the First Tizen Powered Smartphone for Indian Consumers. Now the second Tizen powered smartphone Samsung Z3 had been officially launched in India by Samsung.

The device features a 5-inch HD (1280×720) Super AMOLED display and is powered by the Spreadtrum quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz. The smartphone runs on Tizen 2.3 OS and will be upgradeable to 2.4 version in the near future.

In the rear side of the device it has an 8MP camera with LED flash and f/2.2 aperture and in the front side it has a 5MP camera for taking personal selfie that can capture 120 degree wide selfies.

The device has also 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage that can be expanded upto 128GB through a micro SD card slot and a 2,600mAh battery. It also The Ultra Power Saving Mode on this device can give 33 hours of standby time with just 10% of battery life.

The device equips with pre-loaded games likes AngryBirds, Power Cricket T20, and Nitro Racing and also equips with pre-installed Mix Radio app, the personalized music streaming service. It is expected that it will be a lifetime free service with 1000+ mixes and 30 million plus tracks. In partnership with PayTM, Amazon, BookMyShow ‘My Galaxy’ app has also been launched by Samsung and many others for extra saving on shopping through the smartphones.

It will be exclusively available through Snapdeal from 21 October.
