Samsung announced its latest mid-end device Galaxy Active Neo for the users of Japan.
The device Samsung Galaxy Active Neo sports a 4.5″ WVGA display with the resolutions of 480pixels, RAM of 2GB, expandable internal storage capacity of 16GB , it can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSDXC card . It is powered by the Snapdragon 410 chip – quad-core 1.2GHz Cortex-A53 processor and Adreno 306 GPU. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. The camera section of the device includes a rear camera of 8MP and front-facing camera of 2MP. The device Samsung Galaxy Active Neo is powered by a battery of 2200 mAh and supports quick charge due to the presence of “AC adapter 05” DoCoMo. Connectivity wise, it features LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1 and NFC.
The device has gained the both IP68 certification as well as MIL-STD-810G certification.
The IP68 certification gives its safety from the dust and also makes it fear-less in deep water up to 1.5 meter for 30 minutes. Also MIL-STD-810G certification offers its safety from salt and sea water, dust, humidity, rain, vibration, solar radiation, transport and thermal shock resistance. The device can bear the weight of 2 tons.
The users will get the device via NTT DoCoMo from November, 2015 at the cost of JPY 20,000 (€150).
