As we know Motorola recently launched the device Moto X Force with the with the new name Droid Turbo 2, is now preparing to land in India in the coming month of November,2015.
The Droid Turbo 2 features a 5.4” Quad HD shatterproof display with the resolutions of 1440×2560 pixels and is powered by 2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 810 64-bit octa-core processor. The handset runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with planned upgrade to Android 6.0 Marshmallow in coming months.
In the rear side of the device it has a 21MP camera with f/2.0 aperture, PDAF and dual LED flash and in the front side it has a 5MP camera for video calling and taking personal selfie . The device has 3GB RAM. The smartphone comes in two storage variants 32GB/64GB with microSD card slot for expansion up to 2TB.
Connectivity wise the smartphone features 4G-LTE (Cat 4), Wi-Fi with MIMO, infrared, NFC, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS and a microUSB port and a 3760mAh battery that can last for two days on mixed usage and also supports Quick Charging. It weighs 169 grams and has the thickness of 7.6mm.
Since its shatterproof display panel is based on it’s own ShatterShield technology and the Company has offered a four-year warranty in case of damage caused to the display. The device sports two touchscreen layers, so that in case of breaking of one screen the device will not be affected as it run as usual.
It will be available in only black ballistic nylon touch with nano-coating to prevent it from water splash.
The UK users can get the 32GB version of the device at £499 (Rs. 49,900) while they can buy 64GB version at £534 (Rs. 53,400).
The company hasn’t declared the cost of the device for Indian users till date.
