Micromax Bolt Q338 Launched


Today, Micromax has launched a new budget 3G smartphone of it’s Bolt-series named Micromax Bolt Q338. The price of the device is Rs. 6,499. Micromax with this smartphone offers to Airtel customers 200MB of free data for WhatsApp usage or talktime worth Rs. 40 per month for five months.

Bolt Q338 equips with a 5-inch (720×1280 pixels) IPS display and is powered by MediaTek (MT6580) quad-core processor clocked at 1.3 GHz. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop.

In the rear side of the handset it has an 8MP camera with LED flash and in the front side it has a 5MP camera for video calling and selfie-clicks. Bolt Q338 supports dual SIM. It has 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB through microSD card.

Connectivity wise it has 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and microUSB port and a 2000mAh battery that offers up to 7.5 hours of talk time and 360 hours of standby.

It is consider that 10 Indian regional languages has been supported by the smartphone and Firstouch launcher has been preloaded which provides live translations to regional languages just by swiping on the keyboard and also loaded with many more bloatware apps like Chaatz, CleanMaster, Newshunt, SwiftKey, Snapdeal, Saavn, Quikr, Hike, Hotstar and also has a app store called ‘App Bazaar’ that comes in regional languages.
