LG announced LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition which is the successor of LG Watch Urbane , which was announced in February, 2015. Since it is the first Watch runs on Android OS with 4G LTE support.
The LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition sports 1.38” fully circular P-OLED display with a resolution of 480 x 480 pixels with the pixel density of 348 ppi. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 SoC chipset, 768MB of RAM, built -in storage capacity of 4GB. It also includes built -in sensors including accelerometer, gyro, compass, barometer, heart rate sensor, and GPS. The 2nd Edition LG Watch Urbane is also certified by IP67 rating , which means it has the complete protection against dust, and protection against water immersion up to 1m and for up to 30 minutes. The Watch has the stainless steel body with the wideness of 44.5mm and thickness of 14.2mm. It is powered by a hexagonal battery of 570mAh -certified stainless steel body that measures 44.5mm wide and 14.2mm thick. A 570mAh hexagonal battery by LG Chem.It features non-removable bands.
It is expected that the LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition will first available to retailers in the United States and South Korea.
The cost of the device is still unknown.
