Today, along with the expansive Huawei Nexus 6P, the LG Nexus 5X has been officially launched by Google in India.
The Nexus 5X features 5.2-inch 1920 x 1080 pixels IPS display with 424ppi as pixel density which is covered with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 and is powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 64-bit hexa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz coupled with Adreno 418 GPU. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0. Marshmallow
In the rear side of the device it has a 13MP laser autofocus camera with f/2.0 aperture, dual LED flash and in the front side of the device it has a 5MP camerawith a f/2.2 aperture for taking personal selfie. The device has 2GB RAM and it comes in two storage variants one with 16GB and the other with 32GB.
The Nexus 5X comes with the new fingerprint sensor, “Nexus Imprint,” which makes the users a quick and secure access to the smartphone. The handset also features a USB Type-C port for fast charging and data transfer and dual front-facing speakers and a 2700mAh battery that can last for one complete day on mixed usage.
Connectivity wise the device features 4G-LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and microUSB port.The dimensions of the handset are 147 x 72.6 x 7.9 mm, weighs 136 grams and will be available in Carbon Black, Sports White and Ice Blue color options.
The Nexus 5X is available in two versions with 16GB and 32GB as mentioned earlier and it’s price is Rs.31,990 and Rs.35,990 respectively. The device will be available both offline and online exclusively via Amazon. The pre-orders of the smartphone start from today and will go on sale from 21 October.
