Recently a new smartphone named Aqua GenX has been unveiled by the Indian smartphone maker Intex at an event held in New Delhi. Aqua GenX features a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080pixels) display and will be powered by 64-bit MediaTek octa-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. In the rear side of the handset it has a 13MP camera with LED flash and in the front side it has a 5MP camera for video calling and selfie clicks. The smartphone supports dual-sim. connectivity wise it features 4G-LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and a microUSB port with OTG support on the go.

It has 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded upto 128GB with microSD card slot and a 2850mAh battery. The Aqua GenX sports a full metal body and will also come with a one-year screen breakage warranty.
On the other side, Intex has also tied up with Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Jio Infocomm to supply 4G handsets enabled with voice over LTE (VoLTE) feature.

It is expected that the Intex Aqua GenX willhit the markets in the coming week and will be available in retail shops across the country by October 15. It is also expected that the price of the device will be around Rs. 14,000.
