BQ Aquaris X5 Smartphone Launched


Today a new Android-based smartphone called Aquaris X5 has been launched by Spanish smartphone maker, BQ in India. It is the first budget smartphone that equips a premium look with metal frame.

Aquaris X5 features a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display with 293ppi as pixel density and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 412 64-bit quad-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz clubbed with Adreno 306 GPU. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop.

In the rear side of the device it has a 13MP Sony IMX camera with LED flash and in the front side of the device it has a 5MP camera for taking personal selfie. The handset supports dual SIM. Connectivity wise the device features 4G-LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and a microUSB port.

The smartphone has also 2GB/3GB RAM, 16GB/32GB internal storage with microSD card support for further expansion and a 2900mAh battery that offers complete one day on mixed usage. The dimensions of the smartphone measures 144.4 x 70.5 x 7.5 mm and weighs 148 grams.

Aquaris X5 is available in three colors- Anthracite Grey with Black front, Silver Grey and Golden Rose both with White front.
