We carried out lots of information related to the upcoming device BlackBerry Priv previous few days. Now according to the latest information, the device passed the FCC certification and now it is ready for sale in US markets.
The device comes in three different models including STV100-1, STV100-3, and STV100-4.
The Blackberry Priv sports a AMOLED 5.4″ Quad HD display with curved glass with the resolutions of 2560 x 1440 pixel and pixel density of 540ppi , 3GB of RAM, internal storage capacity of 32GB , which can be further expanded up to 2TB via microSD. It is powered by Snapdragon 808 chipset with dual-core 1.8GHz Cortex-A57 and quad-core 1.44GHz Cortex-A53 processor with Adreno 418 GPU. The device runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with some BlackBerry apps. It also features Schneider-Kreuznach optics with the dimension of 147 x 77.2 x 9.4mm and weighs 192g.
The camera section of the device includes a rear camera of 18MP with optical image stabilization, autofocus and dual-LED (dual tone) flash and front-facing camera of 2MP.
It has DTEK, a warning system app, which will provide more privacy to the users. The device also offers an app which helps the users to transfer content from various devices, including old BlackBerries.
As we know the pre-registration of the device is already going on in the UK and Canada via retailers Carphone Warehouse and Rogers respectively.
The unlocked version of the device BlackBerry Priv already revealed at the cost of $750 in the US and $949 in Canada and the shipping of the device will be started on 16th November, 2015.
