Yu Yunique launched in India

Yesterday a new smartphone named Yu Yunique has been announced by Micromax’s Yu brand.

The handset features a 4.7-inch screen display having a 720 x 1280 resolution and the pixel density of the display is 312ppi. The display is covered by a Gorilla Glass 3. The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 410 chipset which includes a 64-bit quad-core 1.2GHz CPU and the Adreno 306 GPU. The handset runs on Android 5.1. But after going to Yu service center you can update it to Cyanogen 12.1 which is based on Android 5.1.1 flashed on the phone.

In the rear side of the device it has an 8MP camera comes with an aperture of f/2.0 and by the help of this you can take photos under less than optimal lighting conditions. In the front side of the device it has a 2MP camera which is equipped with an 83-degree wide-angle lens. The device also features dual SIM capabilities and an FM radio.

The device has also 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB through microSD slot and a 2000mAh battery. Connectivity wise the device supports 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.

The phone will be provided through a flash sale every Tuesday at 12 noon starting September 15. Registrations started today at 6pm in India. The device is available in black and its price is equivalent of $75 USD.
