As we know that, the flagship tablet named Galaxy Tab S2 has been announced by Samsung in July. Now they have launched it in India. The device comes in two versions. First one features 8-inches screen and the other feature 9.7-inches. It is consider that 9.7-inch version launched only with 32GB of internal storage.
Both the tablet features Quad HD (1536×2048) Super AMOLED display. The 8-inch version comes with a pixel density of 320ppi on the other hands the 9.7-inch versions comes with pixel density of 264ppi.Both versions are powered by an Exynos 5433 octa-core processor with four cores clocked at 1.9GHz and the other four at 1.3GHz. They run on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop based TouchWiz UI.
They have also 3GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB through a microSD card slot. In the rear side of the devices they have an 8MP camera and in the front side they have a 2.1MP camera for taking personal selfie. Both tablets also features fingerprint sensor.
Both the variants measures just 5.6mm thick that makes them the world’s thinnest tablets ever. Connectivity wise both tablets features 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, GPA/A-GPS/GLONASS, and a microUSB 2.0 port.
The dimensions of the 9.7-inch variant are 237.3 x 169 x 5.6 mm and weighs 389 grams while the dimensions of the 8-inch variant are 198.6 x 134.8 x 5.6 mm and weighs 265 grams.The 9.7-inch variant has a Li-Ion battery of 5,870mAh capacity and the 8-inch comes with a smaller 4,000mAh battery.
Both the tablet can also work as a remote controller for your Smart TVs. The price of the 8-inch variant is $400 and the price of 9.7-inch variant is $500. The pre-orders for the Wi-Fi only variants has already started but the company hasn’t mentioned any details about the 4G LTE.
